This date was meant to be a lucky date. At the time I didn't think so, but I now know how lucky the date was, as it meant finding out as early as possible and starting the ball rolling.
In the past 12 months we have had appointments, assessments, therapies, some 'why us' moments.
In the past 12 months we have also had results, progress, quality time other parents 'miss out' on, 'lucky us' moments.
We have contact with and have met wonderful people and children we would otherwise not have met.
We have this....
Nothing like that hearing that initial diagnosis!

ReplyDeleteI don't remember the actual date of our diagnosis, but yours sure was one that was easy to remember!!!
Archer is such a star and is doing so well (and is too cute for words! Love that pic!). And we're very, very glad to have met you ;-).
